India will tour Zimbabwe for a series of five one-dayers after their tri-series in the West Indies that concludes on July 11. The series will start July 24 and end on August 3. In 2010, Suresh Raina captained a young side which failed to make it to the final of the one-day tri-series involving Sri Lanka.

India chased down 184 set by Zimbabwe at Harare with the help of Virat Kohli, who hit an unbeaten fifty. Kohli's 64-run stand with Ambati Rayudu (33) and an unbroken partnership of 56 with Suresh Raina (28 not out) gave him his first full-series victory as team India captain. Earlier, man of the match Amit Mishra took four for 47 in his 10 overs. Seamer Mohammed Shami backed Mishra up with 2-25.
